Locker Room Attendant

Minnehaha is looking for a Locker Room Attendant in its golf operation. As a part of the team, the attendant has direct contact with the members on a daily basis. Duties include; cleaning and organizing the locker and fitness room operations, helping members and guests with general service needs, cleaning and polishing golf and dress shoes, and helping out in the operation wherever needed. Minnehaha strives to employ energetic, outgoing people and encourage them to reach their highest potential. This position will have a high level of involvement in managing a locker room during The Sanford International, a PGA Tour Champions Event. Position is part-time seasonal. Hours can be flexible with mostly looking for help on Friday – Monday.

Compensation is commensurate with experiences starting at $13-15 per hour plus gratuities. Playing privileges may be granted when available. Duties include:

• Daily performance of all duties related to locker and fitness room operations
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing the locker and fitness room areas
• Ensure locker and fitness room is properly stocked, organized, and clean.
• Cleaning and polishing golf shoes and dress shoes
• Changing out spikes for shoes that need replaced
• Provide each member and guest arriving with personal attention and ensure his/her needs are handled and exceeded.
• Assist in operation areas as needed during non-peak times
• Help facilitate tournament coordination and prep including for The Sanford International, a PGA Tour Champions event held mid-September.

Qualifications and Skills

• Available to work flexible hours (weekdays and weekends, most shifts are afternoon hours, but potentially flexible for the right candidate)
• Must have availability to work in the spring and fall months
• Prior Customer Service experience preferred
• Must maintain positive, professional attitude and appearance
• A basic knowledge and understanding of golf is preferred
• Must have good communication and people skills
